(Greensburg, IN) – The Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Decatur County Farm Bureau, is proud to announce the launch of the 2025 Agripreneur Innovation Grant — an exciting new opportunity aimed at supporting the next generation of agricultural entrepreneurs in Decatur County.
This opportunity is made possible by the success of the 2025 Ag Day Breakfast, a highly anticipated annual event that brings together local industry leaders, small family farms, agribusiness professionals, and aspiring ag leaders to celebrate and strengthen Decatur County’s agricultural heritage. The breakfast is a collaborative effort between the Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce and the Decatur County Farm Bureau.
The Agripreneur Innovation Grant aims to empower young individuals in Decatur County to start or grow their own agriculture-related businesses or jobs. This initiative is designed to address the current economic challenges facing the agriculture industry by providing financial support and resources to the next generation of farmers, ranchers, and agri-business owners. By fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among young people, this grant will help drive economic development and secure a sustainable future for Decatur County’s agricultural economy.
“With this grant, we hope to spark new ideas, inspire action, and support the ambitions of young agripreneurs who are ready to make a difference in their community and the industry,” said Dawn Lowe, Executive Director of the Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce.
Whether it’s launching a new farm venture, expanding an existing operation, or creating a service that supports agriculture, eligible applicants with forward-thinking and sustainable ideas are encouraged to apply.
Applications are due by Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 12 p.m.
Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
Winner(s) will be announced in November 2025.
