The Dearborn County Fair promises a day packed with classic fair charm and 4-H pride. Things get started early at 8 a.m. with the 4-H Poultry Show at the Miss Ellie Show Arena. Also at 8, families can join the Decorated Rocks Morning Scavenger Hunt.
At 4 p.m., the community will gather for the Fair’s Opening Ceremony on the Haag Ford Stage, featuring recognition of longtime 4-H members. Immediately following is the crowning of this year’s 4-H Royalty.
Rock hunters can jump back into the action with the Evening Scavenger Hunt at 5 p.m.
At 6 p.m., the spotlight returns to the Haag Ford Stage for the highly anticipated Dearborn County Fair Queen Contest. From 6 to 8 p.m., families can explore their creative side at the Family Art session in the Demonstration Tent.
The evening wraps up with more 4-H action as the Sheep Show begins at 7 p.m. at the Miss Ellie Show Arena.
And for a messy, must-see finish: the fan-favorite Muddy Hog Competition kicks off at 7:30 p.m. near the Rabbit and Poultry Barn.
