Batesville won the IHSAA boys golf sectional championship for the first time since the ’95-’96 season and ended Columbus North’s seven-year streak of sectional titles on Friday at Greensburg Country Club.
The Bulldogs advanced to the regional for the first time since the 2011-2012 season by shooting a team score of 301 and narrowly edged Columbus North, which finished at 302.
