Greensburg run ruled Scottsburg 12-2 in 6 innings in the IHSAA Class 3A Baseball Regional at Madison High School in a game heard Saturday on WRBI.
The Pirates erupted for eight runs in the 4th inning to put the game away.
Caleb Greiwe went 2 for 4 at the plate with a home run and three driven in, and Logan Meyer knocked in four runs.
Pitcher Lance Coy gave up one earned run on three hits with eight strike outs and two walks over six innings to get the win.
Greensburg will take on host Jasper in the 3A Semi-state semifinal this Saturday afternoon at 2.
The winner advances to the Semi-state championship game against either Guerin Catholic or New Palestine Saturday at 7 p.m.
