Harry E. Wagner, 80, of Versailles passed away at 4:20 a.m., Friday, June 6, 2025 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born in Milan on November 13, 1944, the son of Edward and Virginia Grace Adams Wagner. He was married to Ollie Mullins Jolly on September 2, 1988 and she preceded him in death. Survivors include step-children Rick (Donna) Jolly of Warbranch, Kentucky, Charles (Francis) Jolly of Kentucky, Lisa Sanders of Versailles, and Linda (Ervin) Pettit of Moores Hill; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; four brothers Paul, Steve, and Carl Wagner of Versailles, and Lee Wagner of Pierceville; three sisters Brenda (Glen) Steele and Jenny Palmer both of Versailles, and Wanda Terry of Alabama. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Raymond and Robert, and his sister Margaret. Mr. Wagner was a former employee of the Ford plant in North Vernon and the Ripley County Highway Garage. He had also helped the Woolum Family in Versailles with property management. Harry had been a resident of the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood for the past four years and considered the residents and staff there as his second family. He enjoyed model cars, watching the Dukes of Hazzard, playing bingo, drinking Pepsi, and spending time with the grandkids. Harry’s wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date with burial in the Hopewell Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Manderley Activity Fund in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home.
