Larry Dale Fry, 58, of Greensburg, passed away at Decatur County Memorial Hospital on May 24, 2025. He was born August 12, 1966, the son of the late James E. Fry and Carol Fry.
Larry attended Greensburg High School, graduating in 1985. He worked for 4 years at the local IGA until becoming a machinist at Tree City Tool and Engineering.
Larry was preceded in death by both his father and mother. He is survived by two brothers, Gary Fry of Greensburg, and Bryan (Susan) Fry of Greensburg, two nieces, Melinda (Josh) Zimmer of Shelbyville and Melissa Kay Fry of Greenwood. He is also survived by one great niece, Kaylee M. Fry of Greenwood.
The family wishes to thank Greensburg Fire Chief, Nate Stoermer, members of the Greensburg Police Department and Fire Department, and the Greensburg EMS for their help and dedication during a very difficult time.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held following the visitation starting at 1:00 pm, also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at South Park Cemetery.
In honor of Larry, memorial contributions can be made to an organization of the donor’s choice.
