The New York Knicks came from behind to defeat the Pacers 106-100 in Game Three of the Eastern Conference finals in downtown Indianapolis as heard last night on the Sports Voice. New York outscored Indiana 36-20 in the fourth quarter, and 61-42 in the second half. The Pacers lead the series two to one heading into Game Four tomorrow night in Indy.

Alex Palou took the checkered flag at the 109th running of the Indianapolis 500 as heard yesterday on WRBI. Palou becomes the first driver from Spain to win the Indy 500. He’s now won five of the first six races on the IndyCar circuit this year.

The Chicago Cubs rallied to beat the Reds 11-8 yesterday at Great American Ball Park to take two out of three games in the series. Cincinnati led 8-3 after six innings before the Cubs stormed back by scoring eight runs over the sixth, seventh and eighth innings. The Reds fall to 26-27 and are tied for third in the Central Division race, 6 1/2 games behind the first place Cubs. Cincinnati opens a six-game road trip with the first of three this afternoon in Kansas City against the Royals. Coverage begins at 3:40 on 103.9 FM.

High school softball sectional action gets underway this evening, and we have a doubleheader from the 3A tournament at Batesville, where the host Bulldogs face South Dearborn in the opener. Airtime is 5:15 on the Sports Voice. That will be followed up by the nightcap at BHS between Greensburg and Lawrenceburg.
