Fever Opener vs. Chicago Gets Testy

(Indianapolis, IN) – The Indiana Fever got off to a great start to their regular season on Saturday beating the Chicago Sky 93-58.

The victory was overshadowed by a dust up between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese

The WNBA is looking into allegations of “hateful fan comments” directed at Reese.

During the third quarter, Fever guard Caitlin Clark slapped at the ball after Reese grabbed an offensive rebound.

She was called for a foul that was upgraded to a flagrant one.

Reese responded by trying to confront Clark, and was booed by fans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Clark had a triple-double.

The Fever are 1-and-0 and will host the Atlanta Dream tomorrow night.
