The Lady Knights faced South Ripley on Wednesday evening, earning a 6–1 victory. Chyleigh Morales started on the mound, allowing six hits and one run while recording three strikeouts and no walks.
The defense was solid, committing only one error. Lauren Musgrove stood out with eight outs and a clean fielding performance.
Offensively, the team tallied eight hits and six runs. Morales also led at the plate, going 2-for-3. Key bunts from Cory Lee, Musgrove, Emma Hogston, and Bianca Noel helped drive the offense.
The Lady Knights continue their season this Friday at 6 p.m. against Union County.
