(Greensburg, IN) – The Decatur County Health Department will host a Community Baby Shower this Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at the agency’s office at 315 S. Ireland Street in Greensburg.
The event is designed to support expectant and new parents by providing access to essential resources, education, and community support aimed at enhancing maternal and infant health.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with local health professionals, learn about available services, and receive valuable information on topics such as prenatal care, infant nutrition, and safe sleep practices.
They’ll also receive free diapers and sleep sacks, and will be registered for door prizes.
“Our goal is to ensure that every family in Decatur County has access to the resources and support they need for a healthy start,” said Amanda Rich, Population Health Manager of the Decatur County Health Department. “This event is an opportunity to bring together community partners and provide expectant and new parents with the tools and information to thrive.”
The Community Baby Shower is open to all expectant and new parents in Decatur County. Registration is not required, and the event is free of charge.
