Dixon Impresses at Open Testing

Scott Dixon was the fastest overall in Indy 500 open testing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The speeds don’t mean a lot in the grand scheme of things, as drivers get dialed in in race trim. Today, however, they will matter as drivers will get the Fast Friday boost for the first time in their new hybrid engines, so they can test the hybrids in qualifying trim. Kyle Larson completed his veteran refresher yesterday, as did several rookies with their rookie orientation programs.
