**UPDATED ARRANGEMENTS**
Bruce Tackett, 71, of Milan passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Ripley Crossing. Bruce was born on Thursday, September 10, 1953, in Frenchburg, Kentucky; son of Felix and Gladys (White) Tackitt. Bruce worked in assembly at the Ford Motor Company in Sharonville, Ohio. He was a past member of the Aurora Moose Lodge. He enjoyed going fishing and playing poker. He loved to drink his coffee and telling stories while drinking beer.
Bruce will be missed by his son Bruce “Rooster” (Kristy Clark) Tackitt of Dillsboro; daughters Jackie (Wally) Tackitt of Dillsboro, Cristy (Michael) Curry of Moores Hill, Natasha (Stephen) Troxell of Dillsboro, and Heater (Ricky) Ewald of Dillsboro; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Felix and Gladys Tackitt and numerous siblings.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 PM until late in the evening on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Legion Pavilion: 933 East U.S. 50, Versailles, IN 47042. Burial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Rolftwell Cemetery: 2029 Dog Trot Rd., Frenchburg, KY 40322, with dinner following the services. The family would like to invite everyone to both the celebration of life as well as the burial. Memorials may be given in honor of Bruce to the donor’s choice.
