(Ohio County, IN) – A woman lost her life in a Thursday morning crash on State Road 56 in Ohio County.
Investigators say 55-year-old Sherry Pruitt of Indianapolis was southbound on 56 heading toward Rising Sun around 4:30 a.m. when her vehicle went off the road.
Pruitt was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office says she was the only person involved in the crash, which remains under investigation.
