(Greensburg, IN) – The Greensburg Water Department will flush hydrants around the city May 5-9.
This is a routine part of maintaining the city’s water distribution system.
Flushing releases water from fire hydrants to help clear out any sediment or debris, which helps improve water quality and makes sure the hydrants are working properly when needed.
Greensburg city officials are asking you to be aware of crews working around fire hydrants, and there may be some standing water around hydrants when flushing has concluded
In addition, the Greensburg Utilities Consumer Confidence Report is available on the city website for public review.
