The Batesville Bulldogs defeated the Connersville Spartans 8-4 in junior varsity action. The Bulldogs were the first to get on the board in the second when Isaac Lemmel doubled, scoring one run. Batesville added one run in the third. William Huber hit a sacrifice fly, making the score 2-0. The Bulldogs scored six runs on two hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. An error scored two runs, Huber doubled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, and Landon Grossman singled, scoring one run. Ronan Post earned the win for the Bulldogs. The pitcher allowed five hits and one run over six innings, striking out three and walking none. Grossman collected the save. Lemmel, Huber, Grossman, Post, and Max Meyer each collected one hit for Batesville. Huber and Post were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs.
