(Dearborn County, IN) – Several agencies took part in a water rescue on Longnecker Road in northern Dearborn County over the weekend.
A person became trapped in their trailer by rising water.
Dearborn County Water Rescue and the New Trenton and Harrison Ohio fire departments were called in, and crews brought the person to safety.
Meanwhile, floodwaters are receding in parts of Southeastern Indiana that were hit by high water over the weekend.
A stalled system of heavy rains, coupled with already saturated ground, led to flooding in parts of the area.
