Indianapolis, IN – Friday, the Indiana High School Athletic Association announced that the Girls Volleyball State Championships will be hosted at a new site starting in the 2025-26 season next fall. Girls volleyball in Indiana is becoming increasingly popular resulting in a venue change.
The new host venue for the State Championships is Gainbridge Fieldhouse, which also holds the boys basketball finals and the wrestling finals in the early spring. This is the first venue change the IHSAA has made since back in the 2007-08 season when the state finals was moved from Butler’s iconic Hinkle Fieldhouse to the 18-year host, Worthen Arena at Ball State.
Gainbridge Fieldhouse will be replacing Worthen Arena as the host of the IHSAA Girls Volleyball State Finals for years to come.
