(Cincinnati, OH) – The Reds have announced that a bronze sculpture of Marty Brennaman will be unveiled outside of Great American Ball Park in early September.

The sculpture will depict the Hall of Fame broadcaster behind the radio microphone.

Brennaman retired in 2019 after 46 seasons with the Reds.

“This sculpture will be a tribute to Marty Brennaman’s incredible legacy and represents all that he means to Reds Country,” said Phil Castellini, Reds President and CEO. “For nearly five decades, Marty was the voice of the Reds, bringing unforgettable moments to life for generations of fans. Now, his presence outside Great American Ball Park will be a lasting reminder of his passion and love for this team and this city.”

Artist Tom Tsuchiya has been commissioned to create the sculpture, which will be placed near the Reds front office building facing Joe Nuxhall Way to welcome fans as they arrive at Crosley Terrace.

The Reds Hall of Fame is going on a fundraising campaign to support the sculpture.

A dedication ceremony will be held on September 6 before the Reds vs. New York Mets game at GAPB.
