(Ripley County, IN) – More than 16-hundred Duke Energy customers in Ripley County were without electricity Wednesday afternoon after high winds caused a massive power outage.
Service was restored by Wednesday evening to everyone who was affected.
Meanwhile, the Ripley County Emergency Management Agency says a lot of people called 9-1-1 to report the outage.
In such a situation, officials urge you to contact your electric provider to report outages and receive an estimated time of when the juice will be back on.
