Lawrenceburg, IN – The St. Louis Lady Cardinals travelled to St. Lawrence on Tuesday night, looking to get some momentum going late in the season.
The Cardinals had a very hard fought game and played well on both sides of the ball throughout. They moved around well on offense and found production from several girls. Edie Walke had a nearly perfect shooting night, scoring a season high, 10 points. Halle Meyer and Lesley Nunez each tallied 4 points. Sarah Durham got into the scoring column with a free throw make as well. On defense Lola Beiser, Lucy Becker, Eleanor Spielmann and Grace Flashpohler did a great job pressuring the Panthers leading to a number of turnovers. Final score, 19-13.
The Cardinals improve to 4-6 on the year and will conclude their season tonight vs. Laurel at home!
