Shelbyville knocked off Batesville 63-59 in boys basketball heard last night on the Sports Voice. Senior Cade Kaiser, playing in his final home game, led all scorers with 22 points. Kamryn Holcomb added 16 for the Bulldogs, who end the regular season at 13-9. The Golden Bears won the JV game 39-23.
In other action around the area, it was Lawrenceburg over Oldenburg Academy 45-39. Henry Wanstrath recorded a double double for the Twisters, scoring 16 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. The Tigers Noah Knigga led all scorers with 17 points while teammate Kaleb Cole added 10. OA goes into sectional play next week at 13-9.…And Rushville turned back North Decatur 58-49. The Chargers go into the postseason at 11-13.
