Rushville, IN – The Bulldogs JV had an EIAC matchup ahead of them on the road versus the Rushville Lions.
Batesville quickly jumped out to an 11-5 lead at the end of the first quarter and extended that lead in the second quarter heading into the locker room, outscoring the Lions 9-5 in the second. Halftime score, 20-9. The Bulldogs defense was hounding and relentless in this half.
Although Rushville began to find their stride on offense, so did Batesville. A higher scoring quarter saw Batesville continuing to build their already comfortable lead by 3, 15-12 in the third. A dominant defensive performance found itself in the hands of the Batesville Bulldogs who claimed another win on the road. Final score – 41-30.
