Batesville Boys Basketball Holds Off Madison

The Batesville Bulldogs hung on to secure a 60-57 victory over Madison in a thrilling contest on Saturday night. Despite leading 51-38 at the end of the third quarter, the Bulldogs were outscored 19-9 in the final eight minutes, but managed to hold on for the win.

Cade Kaiser and James Hughes led Batesville’s offensive charge, each contributing 17 points. Kaiser also had a team-high 13 rebounds and 5 assists, providing a well-rounded performance. Kamryn Holcomb added 12 points to help secure the win for the Bulldogs.

The game was tightly contested down the stretch, but Batesville’s strong start proved to be enough to secure the victory.
