Nancy Lynn “Skipper” Snelbaker, age 81, of Hebron, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025. Born December 12, 1943, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of David Thomas and Nancy Viola (Tucker) Snelbaker.
Nancy was an incredible caring and giving Christian woman. She was a retired elementary school teacher at Kentucky School for the Deaf (KSD). Serving and teaching deaf children with special needs for over 30 years.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105
Skipper is survived by her nephews Steve (Shonda), Jeff, and David Snelbaker. Also survived by eight great nieces and nephews, four great-great nieces and nephews with one on the way.
Preceded in death by her parents David and Nancy Snelbaker, brother Thomas “Tom” Snelbaker, niece Linda Canterbury, and nephew Daniel Snelbaker.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 1:30 P.M., with Joy Watson officiating, all at Baltimore Pike Cemetery 3200 Costello Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
She went home to be with the Lord and her life should be celebrated. Her relatives and friends will smile and try to emulate her. Thank you, “Skipper”.
