Juanita Lows (Willoughby) passed away peacefully at the age of 88 at the St. Andrews Assisted Living Center in Batesville, IN. She was born on a small family farm in Montgomery County, KY on July 16, 1936 to Shelby and Lou Emma Willoughby. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Ted, Arnold, Marvin, Paul, Jerry, and Shelby Jr. Willoughby, and her sisters: Agnes Fields and Naomi Turner.
Juanita was predeceased by Lloyd “Don” Lows, her husband for over 60 years and a 28 year veteran Indiana State Police Master Trooper. They resided in Dillsboro, IN for nearly 40 years and previously in Versailles, IN.
Juanita is survived by her three children, son Steven and daughter in law, Valerie Lows, Scottsdale, AZ, grandchildren Jared Lows, Scottsdale, AZ, and Miranda Lows, Orlando, FL, son Douglas Lows, Versailles, IN and daughter Donna Lows, Danville, KY.
Juanita greatly enjoyed being a full-time mother and homemaker and was later employed at Delta Faucet, Greensburg, IN and Ohio Rod, Versailles, IN. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, thrifting and spending time with family and friends. She was dearly loved, and her indomitable spirit will be greatly missed by all.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
