IN National Guard Assisting with Inauguration

(Washington, D.C.) – Indiana National Guard soldiers are in Washington, D.C. to assist with security for today’s inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance.

The inauguration will take place inside the Capitol Rotunda due to dangerously cold weather.

Indiana guardsmen have joined thousands of National Guard members from across the country to ensure the event’s security.

The latest deployment follows the Indiana Guard’s previous support for Mr. Trump’s 2017 inauguration and President Joe Biden’s 2021 inauguration.
