Mr. George Anthony “Tony” Addison, age 83, of Markland, Indiana, entered this life on August 18, 1941 in Bedford, England. He was the son of the late, John and Elenor (Clark) Addison. Tony was raised in Bedford, England where he graduated high school and moved to New Zealand in his 20’s. Tony was a former salvager for deep-sea underwater ships before moving to the United States in 1977. Tony was united in marriage on August 2, 1991 to Connie L. Perry in Burlington, Kentucky. Tony and Connie shared over 33 years together until his passing. He was a former kitchen installer in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tony began his career at Indiana Door and Window in Aurora, Indiana, where he eventually became the owner. He transformed the business into Indiana Window and Door, proudly serving the community for several years. Tony’s contributions to the local industry and his commitment to quality service left a lasting impact on his customers and colleagues. Tony enjoyed fishing, watching TV, playing with his dog, Gypsy, and spending quality time with his family, especially his great-grandchildren. He was an avid Bengals fan and loved watching Cincinnati and Liverpool England soccer. He will be remembered for his hard work, entrepreneurial spirit, and the warmth he brought to those around him. Tony passed away at 4:15 a.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Tony is survived by his wife, Connie L. (Perry) Addison of Markland, IN; his daughter, Kam McDaniel and her husband, Joe of Connersville, IN; his granddaughter, Kelsie Hunter Griffith and her husband, Phillip of Connersville, IN; his great-grandchildren, Reighla, Khloey and Gracie Griffith of Connersville, IN and Xzavier Griffith of Connersville, IN; his step-grandchildren, Joey McDaniel and his wife, Carrie of Connersville, IN and Sabrina McDaniel-Logue and her husband, Mason of Mason, OH; his step-great-grandchildren, Jojo McDaniel and Jade McDaniel of Connersville, IN and Remi Logue of Mason, OH; his brother, Jack Addison and his fiancée, Toni of Lawrenceburg, IN; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Devona Perry-Fleenor and her husband, Tony of Rising Sun, IN, Maria Perry of Versailles, IN, Leon Perry and his wife, Donna of Versailles, IN, Kyle Perry and his wife, Micha of Florence, IN, Cecil Perry and his wife, Rose of Eminence, MO and Roger Perry and his wife, Susan of Patriot, IN and his several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elenor (Clark) Addison; his father-in-law, George Perry; his mother-in-law, Leona (Harris) Perry and his brothers-in-law, Ron Perry and George Perry, Jr.
Tony’s wishes were to be cremated with no services being held at this time.
