Richard Lane Jr. “Rick” 48, of Dillsboro, IN, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, in Dillsboro, IN.
He was born August 28, 1976, in Lawrenceburg, IN, the son of Richard Lane Sr. and Deborah (Burk) Lane.
Richard worked as a Facilities Maintenance Lead for Proximo for 15 years. He was a proud member of the NRA. Richard had a passion for hunting, fishing, and all animals, and he cherished spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Deborah of Aurora, IN; his fiancée Cindy Houze of Dillsboro, IN; his son, Jesse Lane; step-children, Layne Dohn, Nick Wilson, and Zak Wilson; his brother, Michael (Kristen) Lane; and his sister, Christina (Joshua) Allen.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Mt. Sinai United Methodist Church, services will be held immediately following at 12:00 pm with Heather Bressert officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Aurora, IN. Contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
