Batesville and East Central split a boys-girls basketball doubleheader heard Saturday evening on WRBI. The host Bulldogs won the boys contest 60-56, while the girls game went to the visiting Trojans 44-37.
In other girls hoops action on Saturday, Class 3A #1 Greensburg moved to 14-0 with a 64-21 victory over South Ripley, and it was South Dearborn besting Milan 37-30.
In boys games on Saturday, Greensburg edged Franklin County 48-45; Oldenburg Academy dumped Rising Sun 55-31; South Ripley tripped South Decatur 69-37, and Triton Central upended North Decatur 62-44.

North Decatur bested Southwestern 38-26 in boys 8th grade basketball on Saturday.
In a three-way swim meet at Milan with Oldenburg Academy and Batesville, the Twisters won the boys meet with 97 points; the host Indians were second with 84 and the Bulldogs finished with 70. Batesville won the girls meet with 189 points, while OA and Milan tied for second with 167 a piece.
The Pacers beat the Sacramento Kings 122-95 in a game heard last evening on WRBI. Pascal Siakim led Indiana with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Six other Pacers also scored in double figures. The road trip continues tonight against the Golden State Warriors. WRBI Airtime is at 9:30.
In NFL action yesterday, the Bengals defeated the Cleveland Browns 24-6 in Cincinnati. Joe Burrow threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns, and Ja’Marr Chase had 97 receiving yards and a score. With the win, the Bengals improve to 7-8 and keep their playoff hopes alive. They also sweep the season series against the Browns.
