The Batesville Bulldogs faced their final competition of the year on Thursday evening, taking on Milan and Oldenburg Academy in a three-way swim meet. The women’s team continued their dominant season, finishing first, while the men’s team placed third.

The Bulldogs delivered four first-place finishes, eight second-place finishes, and ten third-place finishes. Notably, Sarah Bedel led the way for the women with two individual victories and contributed to two winning relay teams.
The women’s team heads into the holiday break with only one loss on the season, setting the stage for a strong showing at the EIAC Conference meet. The men’s team also continues to improve, achieving numerous in-season best times and demonstrating their competitive spirit.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- The Bulldogs recorded 21 lifetime best swims.
- Matthew Lambert led the men with three second-place finishes and one third-place finish.
- Sarah Bedel shined for the women with three first-place finishes and one second-place finish.
