The competition was fierce Tuesday night at the Greensburg High School pool as the Lady Pirates faced off against the Batesville Bulldogs in an exciting meet. Batesville clinched a narrow six-point victory, sealing the deal with a clutch performance in the final 400-yard freestyle relay.
Leading the Bulldogs, Isabel Raab was unstoppable, claiming victory in the 50 and 100 freestyle events and contributing to the winning 200 and 400 freestyle relays. Joining Raab in the decisive 400 relay were Sarah Bedel, Emma Miller, and Cora Miller, whose combined efforts secured the Bulldogs’ victory.
Other standout performances for Batesville included Jenna Zimmerman’s second-place finish in the 100 backstroke, a season best, and Emma Miller’s strong swims in the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly, where she also placed second.

The Greensburg men’s team swept every event, running away with a commanding victory. Despite being shorthanded due to other commitments, Batesville’s boys posted several impressive individual performances.
