(Aurora, IN) – The Dearborn County Coroner says a foot was found along the shoreline near the Ohio River in Aurora.
Coroner Cameron McCreary says a private citizen was looking for arrowheads at Manchester Landing off U.S. 50 when he found the foot, which was inside a shoe.
The footwear is a gray/black Reebok low cut tennis shoe, size 12 or 13.
McCreary says the foot has been taken to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office in Cincinnati to be examined and to hopefully obtain DNA to identify the person the foot belonged to.
He adds no other remains have been found.
