(Statewide) – New data released Monday indicates growing support for the legalization of marijuana in Indiana.
According to the survey conducted by Causeway Solutions, 70 percent of respondents support marijuana legalization for adults over the age of 21.
Twenty-seven percent are totally opposed.
Neighboring states Ohio and Kentucky are among those with laws on the books legalizing marijuana for medical or recreational use.
Ohio Illinois, and Michigan have legalized recreational marijuana for adults.
Kentucky legalized medical cannabis.
Nearly 13-hundred registered voters were surveyed between October 30 and November 3.
