
The St. Louis 8th grade boys basketball team won Saturday’s OA Classic. The Cardinals routed St. Michaels 52-9 in the opener, and topped St. Mary’s in the championship game 48-20.
Batesville girls swimming earned its first two wins of the season in double dual action at Eastern Hancock. It was the Bulldogs over New Castle 107-81, and BHS topped the host Royals 108-80. The Lady Bulldogs won six of 11 events and earned five second place finishes.

The Detroit Lions knocked off the Colts 24-6 in NFL action yesterday in Indianapolis. The Colts drop to 5-7 while the Lions win for the ninth consecutive time and improve to 10-1.

Cincinnati’s Week 16 game at home against the Cleveland Browns has been flexed from Thursday Night Football to Sunday, December 22 at 1 p.m. The NFL is moving the Denver Broncos at the Los Angeles Chargers matchup into the prime time slot on Thursday, December 19. The Bengals are 4-7 while the Browns are 3-8.
Pro Football Hall of Famer, FOX NFL Sunday studio analyst and “Good Morning America” co-host Michael Strahan has been named honorary Pace Car driver for the 109th Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 25 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
