(Friendship, IN) – One person was injured when their pickup truck crashed into a tree along the 4,000 East block of County Road 900 South in the Friendship area Monday afternoon.
Investigators say the eastbound truck went off the road for an undetermined reason and struck the tree.
The unidentified victim was the lone occupant and was out of the vehicle when rescue crews arrived shortly before 3 p.m., and was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The accident remains under investigation by the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office.
Assisting at the scene were the Friendship Volunteer Fire Department, Ripley County EMS, and Meyers Wrecker and Towing.
