(Greensburg, IN) – A two-alarm fire destroyed a single-family home near Lake McCoy Monday morning.
The initial call to the rented home at 4352 East Shady Lane went out around 10:15 am.
Greensburg firefighters received mutual aid from the New Point Volunteer Fire Department.
No one was home at the time of the blaze, and there were no injuries reported but two dogs perished.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Decatur County EMS also responded to the scene.
