Cynthia Renee (Butler) Foley, 65, of Florida, formerly of Lawrenceburg, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024, at her home. Cynthia was born on Tuesday, April 14, 1959, in Erlanger, Kentucky; daughter of Wilford and Gloria (Ashcraft) Butler. Cynthia served in the United States Air Force and was very proud of her time serving. She married the love of her life, Gregory “Greg” Foley, on April 14, 1978, and he preceded her in death on October 30, 2020. Cynthia retired from Delta Airlines and also had worked as an insurance agent. She enjoyed scrapbooking and traveling. Most of all Cynthia cherished spending time and making memories with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Cynthia will be missed by her son Mark (Cree) Foley of Florida; daughter Lyndsey (Jeff) Jackson of Florida; brothers Mitchell (Sherry) Butler of Queen Creek, Arizona and David (Arlene) Turner of Texas; sisters Dara (Todd) Stutler of Huntsville, Texas, Devona Bonta of Cincinnati, JoNee Cochran of Aurora, and Shelly (Richard) Horn of Cincinnati; and grandchildren Elayna, Carter, Brady, Emmett, and Everett Jackson.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband Greg Foley and niece Isabella Stutler.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Cynthia from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM, Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. Services will immediately follow at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Rick Burcham officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery with full military rites provided by the South Eastern Indiana Honor Guard. Memorials may be given in honor of Cynthia to the American Heart Association.
