(Dearborn County, IN) – Great news if you use a major roadway in Dearborn County.
State Road 1 has reopened at Mt. Pleasant Road – more than a month than originally scheduled.
INDOT closed the link between I-74 in St. Leon and U.S. 50 in the Greendale/Lawrenceburg area in mid-April for a $2.1 million slide repair project.
A number of people took to social media to express their happiness over the early reopening, saying it will cut 20 to 25 minutes off their drive.
The road was originally scheduled to reopen around Christmas time.
