Judith C. “Judy” Doll

Judith C. “Judy” Doll, age 81 of Batesville, Indiana passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg, Indiana.  Born December 14, 1942, in Batesville, she is the daughter of Norman and Norma (Nee: Struewing) Raver.  She married John “Jack” Doll on October 7, 1999, in Las Vegas, Nevada and he preceded her in death on January 7, 2016.  Judy worked in the Administration Department at the Hill-Rom Company in Batesville, before retiring.

Judy was an avid bingo player every Thursday at St. Louis Church.  She and Jack also enjoyed frequent trips to Rising Star Casino.  They also enjoyed their frequent trips to Florida.  Judy loved to bake and cook for family and friends.  Judy loved children and was very supportive of her nieces, nephews and children in general.  She had a very tender heart for those she loved.

We want to thank Aspen Place and Our Hospice for all the care given to Judy, especially Maria, Alecia, RoseAnn, Natalia, Lynn, and Andrea.

She is survived by her sisters Lois Miller of Batesville, Linda Gregory of Greensburg, and Joan Raver of Indianapolis, Indiana; brother Ken Raver of Batesville; sisters-in-law Pam Raver of Geneva, Illinois, Patricia (Forest) Crittenden of Panama City, Florida and Elizabeth Beitzinger of Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband Jack, she was preceded in death by her sister Janet Metz and brothers Don and Keith Raver.

Visitation is Thursday, October 17th, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church in Oldenburg, Indiana.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m., at the church, with Fr. John Barker O.F.M. officiating.  The burial will be at the Holy Family Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Phi Beta Psi Sorority Cancer Research or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.  For online condolences go to www.weigelfh.com.
