Chevi Y. Curliss, age 84, of Colerain Township, Ohio, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born the daughter of Walter and Louise (Reid) Cox on November 6, 1939, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she graduated from Taft High School and married her husband of 44 years, the late Jimmy H. Curliss, on February 1, 1978, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She is survived by her children, Renee (Bill) Davis, Tammy (Johnny) Gilbert, Marianne (David Ross) Braden, Kimberly (Mark) Browning, 11 grandchildren Michael (Meghan) Lipps, Alisha (Mitch) Wessler, Josh Braden, Tyler Browning, Ryan Browning, McKenzie Browning, Jessica Braden, Jared Braden, Stephanie Braden, Talia Hiers, and Misey Billard, and her 10 great-grandchildren, Damian, Mason, Breneeana, Clarissa, Skyler, Lace, Noah, Rory, Zadie, and Alexander.
Chevi was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy H. Curliss, her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Angela Braden, and two grandchildren, Kira Gilbert and Shawn Foster. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Walter and Louise Cox, and brothers, William Cox and Richard Cox.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024, until the time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Pete Witt officiating, all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030. A burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati, Ohio.
