(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Fire Department responded to a report of a tree into power lines on Edgewood Drive shortly after 12:30 Friday afternoon.
Crews ended up dealing with multiple electrical fires in three separate residences. They battled flames in a basement, a kitchen and an attic.
The reports came in one right after another, and the Morris Fire Department was brought in to provide mutual aid when the third electrical fire was reported.
No one was hurt.
The families displaced by the fires are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
In addition to the Morris Fire Department and the Red Cross, BFD received assistance from the Batesville Police Department and City of Batesville Dispatch during these simultaneous incidents.
