The Lady Chargers took care of business Monday night against Milan. They won in 3 sets and held MHS to a .013 hitting % while NDHS had a .191 hitting %. Madi Allen had a strong serving night with 10 aces, Sydney Rohls added 2 aces, and Sarah Moeller and Miley Scudder each added an ace. Allen led the offense with 12 kills followed by Scudder with 10 kills. Sophie Rohls put away 6 kills, Sydney Rohls added 5 kills and Sarah Moeller added a kill as well. Kelsey Haley enabled the offense with her 28 assists and also added 2 kills. Hannah Gorrell took charge on defense with 12 digs and 16 received serves. Clare Kinker picked up 7 digs, Kelsey Haley grabbed 6 digs, Sydney Rohls had 5, and Sarah Moeller and Madi Allen both picked up 3 digs. The team had a total of 6 blocks against Milan.
The JV Lady Chargers also secured a win against Milan. (25-13, 21-25, 16-14) Oakley Freel led the offense with 5 kills, Ellie Johnson had 3 kills, Brynlee Green and Maggie Burkhart put away 2 kills each and Eliza Kennelly added 1 kill. Kennelly led our defense with 7 digs and Burkhart picked up 2 digs. They had 12 aces as a team, Maggie Burkhart and Brynlee Green contributed 4 aces each, Kennelly added 2 aces, and Freel and Sara Litmer each added an ace. Maggie enabled the offense with 8 assists.
