(St. Leon, IN) – Several Southeastern Indiana high school marching bands gathered in St. Leon on Saturday for the East Central Marching Band Invitational, with South Dearborn taking top honors.
The Knights won the Grand Champion trophy with the highest overall score among six participating bands.
South Dearborn also won awards for Best Music, Best Marching, Best General Effect, Best Percussion and Best Guard.
David Pallada is the SD band director.
Also taking part in Saturday’s competition were the host Trojans, Batesville, Rising Sun, Switzerland County and Shawe Memorial.
