Fred Busching passed away on Friday, September 6th in Tavares, Florida. Fred was born March 22, 1936 in Versailles, Indiana on the family farm where Versailles State Park is now located. He graduated from Milan High School in 1954 and worked for Monsanto for over 37 years, retiring in 1995. He & Frances spent the winters in Florida and he loved to fish.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Frances Gilbert Busching and one son, Scott (Debbie) Busching of Burlington, Kentucky, one sister, Ruth Ann (Charlie) Ashcraft of Versailles, 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren & several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace & Leona Elrod Busching, his sons, David & Steve, his daughter, Connie and a brother, Alvin.
