Harley Wayne Chase, 62 – Greensburg

Harley Wayne Chase, 62, of Greensburg, passed away at 7:01 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Columbus Regional Hospital surrounded by family. He was born on May 11, 1962 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana the son of Jerald Wayne and Loretta Lee (Woodruff) Chase. He was a 1980 graduate of South Decatur High School. He worked at Holtkamp Farms for 18 years and also worked for Pumphrey Farms and Hughes Tree Service. Harley enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball and basketball. He is survived by his sisters, Tammy Chase and Kimberly (Troy) Knapp both of Westport, Ella (Jason) Hoke of Hope; his brothers, Dennis (Emma) Chase of Osgood and Mark (Brandi) Chase of Clive, Iowa; 9 nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Malvin McCullough officiating. Burial will follow at Westport Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
