The back-to-school sickness has hit the team hard this week. They struggled the first two sets adjusting to being short a player, but once Makayla Somers and Paige McQueen decided to turn it on it was game over in sets 3&4. Those girls played like they’ve never played before and stepped up big tonight when the team needed it. Zsophia Sharp’s passing was phenomenal as well and kept the team alive when they needed it. Taylor Somers had amazing blocks. Lydia Witkemper kept the energy high and heads up. Elizabeth Bennett had the best night of hitting! Raegan Benge and Daisy Martin did a good job of filling in for the missing parts. Benge came out strong for a freshman.
