The Greensburg girls’ soccer team moved to 3-0 on the season after exploding for nine goals in Saturday’s 9-0 win at Union County. Genevieve Smith tallied her third hat trick in as many games. Sophomore Kadence Rich also collected a hat trick. Seniors Emma McQueen, Sierra Coughlin, and Madisyn Morlan also found the net. Smith, Marissa Myers, Morlan, Hazel Jones, Noemy Ramirez, and Jaylin Thornton all contributed assists. The game featured another strong outing from the Pirates’ defensive backline. Goalkeeper Madeline Shrader faced only two shots on goal, denying both. The Pirates are back on the pitch Monday night at Indian Creek. The match begins at 5:30 p.m.
