(Cincinnati, OH) – Rotex Global, an industrial screening and separation equipment and an operating company of Hillenbrand, Inc., recently celebrated its 180th anniversary.
Originally founded in 1844 as Straub Mill Company, Rotex Global has since expanded to four manufacturing facilities around the world while continuing to call The Queen City its home, employing hundreds throughout the region. The company’s inception dates to the pre-Civil War era. Since then, it has transformed into a manufacturer of industrial separation, sifting, and seed and grain cleaning equipment for industries that include agriculture, recycling, industrial minerals, fertilizers, and food.
In addition to its longstanding local presence as an employer, Rotex Global associates volunteer in the community for such organizations as the Freestore Foodbank and the American Heart Association.
Hillenbrand, a leading global provider of highly-engineered processing equipment and solutions, acquired Rotex Global in 2011.
