Harry Truman “Thumper” Dobson, 75, of Milan passed away Monday, August 19, 2024, at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati. Harry was born on Sunday, December 5, 1948, in Lawrenceburg; son of Astor and Billie (Wooton) Dobson. Harry was a forklift operator for Frank’s Packaging and was also an over the road truck driver for 25 years. Harry served in the United States Army. Harry enjoyed model cars, listening to classical music, and driving trucks. Most of all Harry loved to spend time with his friends, family, and his animals.
Harry will be missed by his daughter Tyra Meredith of Batavia; son Craig Dobson of Aurora; friend Linda Smither of Aurora; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents Astor and Billie Dobson and sister Donna Norman.
Services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given in honor of Harry to the family.
