Thursday evening the North Decatur girls golf team faced Edinburgh and Hauser at North Branch on Prairie for the first home match of the season. The Chargers won the match with a team score of 229. Edinburgh finished second with 248 and Hauser third with 262.
Mary Stier was the individual medalist with a 53. Carmen Thackery (58), Kail’C Ruble (58), and Ellie Grote (60) completed the team score. Macy Kinker (65), Jaylynne Krahn (65), Grace Nobbe (66), and Addie Nugent (68) also completed.
Next up the Chargers face East Central at home on Monday.
